On Thursday, 14 November, H Parsons Funerals proudly sponsored a special visit from Adorable Therapy Horses to Warrigal’s Warrawong Multicultural Village and Mount Warrigal. With a 2nd visit to Warrigal’s Shell Cove in December 2025.
This initiative reflects our commitment to the Local Community pillar of the Parsons Pillars, supporting programs that bring comfort, connection, and joy across the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and South Coast.
Why Miniature Therapy Horses?
After 12 years of brightening aged care homes across Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Adorable Therapy Horses has recently relocated to the Illawarra. Their specially trained Miniature Horses stand just 80 cm tall, making them perfect for indoor visits, even in high-care rooms. Equipped with soft rubber boots to protect floors and a special bag to prevent accidents, these Miniature Horses ensure every interaction is safe, clean and full of joy.
First Visit
Residents at Warrigal were treated to one beautifully groomed Miniature Horse named “Lippy”, handled by owner Hannah, a trained professional.
The Miniature Horse offered gentle one-on-one interaction, sparking smiles, laughter and treasured memories of childhood.
