H.Parsons Funeral Directors has long been the preferred funeral home for families in the Shellharbour City area. Since the development of Shell Cove, and now the Shell Cove Marina, we have seen many new families have join the region. We at H.Parsons have done our best to welcome these new families, when they have required our services, but often we have been told that their choice of funeral home was simply the first that they saw.
While this works for some families, we believe in building the most personal and representative funeral service possible. We want to help you. As the only funeral director with a funeral home in the area, we are uniquely positioned to assist families in the Shell Cove, Shellharbour, Albion Park and Warilla areas. That is because our Warilla chapel is located down the road from Shell Cove. Right off of Shellharbour Road, near Warilla Grove Shopping Center.
In 2020 our Warilla funeral home received a full interior renovation which gave it a modern style. Without COVID-19 social distancing restrictions the chapel can sit up to 90 people, with room for another 50 to stand. (Please speak to our funeral directors about current seating options). The home has been given a modern feel with clean and homely decoration.
Catering and Comfort
Getting a group from a funeral home back to Shell Cove for a wake can be challenging, so we also offer catering services on site. For catering we employ Apple Tree Catering, and you might recognise them from some events in Shellharbour and Shell Cove. There is plenty of room to eat and chat in the foyer or in the front garden.
Parking For Family and Guests
We have on-site parking for families and there is plenty of road parking around the home for guests. So no matter how big the funeral service is, guests will always be able to park nearby.
