On Mother’s Day, Sunday 10th May, H.Parsons Funeral Directors will be hosting a special memorial service. This service is to honour and remember all the mother’s that have passed away. This is an open and free service for everyone to join, not only those who had services with H.Parsons.
Due to social distancing, we are holding this years memorial service online, via our webcasting platform. The event will be held in our Wollongong chapel and broadcast to viewers at home.
We Invite You To Share An Image of Your Mother During the Service
We invite families to send an image of their mother or grandmother that has passed away. We will be displaying these images on our wall throughout the service.
Losing a mother is a terrible experience and Mother’s Day is often a harsh reminder. Whether it be the mother of your children, a grandmother, foster mother, birth mother or any other kind of mother, we want to remember them.
Memorial Service Details
Our service will be presented by Lorraine Lehman-Jones, a local celebrant, and will run for approximately 30 minutes. Included throughout the memorial will be:
- A candle lighting ceremony
- Musical Performance by Michelle4Harps, an accomplished local Harpist
- Poem reading
- Virtual Wall Memorial
On Mother’s Day, the memorial service will begin at 10am.
